Mare Island Causeway Bridge Closed to ALL traffic on Saturday, October 17, 2026
The Mare Island Bridge will be closed to ALL traffic - pedestrians, bicyclists, vehicles, and marine - on Saturday, October 17, 2026 from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM to address an urgent corrective maintenance issue. The east side of the span has developed a mechanical imbalance causing a vertical misalignment (span skew). Due to the nature of these repairs, a full closure is required. Vehicular traffic entering Mare Island will be rerouted to the Highway 37 Napa River Bridge during the closure.
