October 3, 2025 - Community Message

Starting Tuesday, October 7, a new traffic circulation pattern will go into effect for the Mare Island Bridge Upgrade Project.  To keep vehicle flow running smoothly, the following restrictions will be effect:

• The one open lane of the causeway bridge will only be used for westbound traffic coming onto the island at all times.

• Eastbound traffic existing the island to the mainland will need to use Highway 37 at all times.
