November 4, 2025 - Community Message

FROM CITY OF VALLEJO: This is a reminder that the Mare Island Bridge will be fully closed on the following dates:

Wednesday, November 5 and Thursday, November 6, 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM

During this time, no vehicle, pedestrian, or bicycle access will be permitted. Once the closure ends, westbound-only traffic will resume. The City of Vallejo is committed to minimizing disruptions. Public Works staff will be actively monitoring traffic and making real-time adjustments to help maintain flow and safety. This closure is part of an 18-month bridge upgrade project designed to improve safety, reliability, and traffic efficiency between Vallejo and Mare Island. Estimated project completion: January 5, 2027. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to build a better bridge—and a better future—for our community.
